"I have no reason to suppose that he who would take away my Liberty would not, when he had me in his Power, take away everything else." - John Locke Prior to the Founding of the United States, people in every part of the world lived under one form of authoritarianism or another. From Caesar to Czar to Kaiser... From Sultan to Maharaja to Akbar... And yes, to the Queen of England and to the King of France... No human society was exempt from authoritarian rule.
Then was born the United States of America. For more than two centuries now, powered by Americanism, individual liberty and self governance has slowly spread across the globe. And, with it, the human condition in terms of wealth and well being has dramatically improved.
Our goal is to promote and preserve this uniquely American national character which serves as the only beacon of hope for sustained freedom and prosperity for all of humanity.
We begin with a simple premise, that all things American can be directly linked to one or more of our Rights as enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. You'll be surprised, virtually all of current events can be viewed through this lens. And, seeing them as such provides a powerful mechanism to cut through political spin and glean right from wrong.
And, one more thing. You'll be stunned to recognize that everyday Americans do this filtering easily, almost as if by instinct. But, it isn't just instinct or dumb luck. It is what being an American really is!
Let's not take this for granted. Let us work to preserve it, to promote it, and to cultivate it in future generations.
